China said Tuesday it would impose tariffs on imports of US energy, vehicles and equipment, firing a return salvo in an escalating trade war between the world’s two biggest economies. US President Donald Trump on Saturday announced sweeping measures against major trade partners Canada and Mexico, with goods from China hit with an additional 10 percent tariff on top of the duties they already endure.

Trump's tariffs are a stealth national sales tax, a Trojan Horse to extend the 2017 tax bill, and maybe even more billionaire and/or corporate tax cuts.
When will France be tariffed?
Since Trump's first term imposing tariffs on China, inflation across the world has skyrocketed. This orange-faced goose-stepper has doubled down and again, making everyday goods more expensive for everyone. Allies of the US are completely blind to this fact.

Let me get this straight, we hit them with 10% tariffs on everything and they hit us with 15% on… things we don't really export much to them at all? Coal? They produce more than enough. Pickup Trucks? Lol, the Chinese aren't buying huge American pickup trucks. LNG and crude oil? Sure but they've already been aggressively diversifying their energy imports to hedge in case of hostilities so that was already happening. Not seeing how this is anything but a win for the USA and I'm a democrat.
Tariffs on iphones too and maybe ban them.
