It makes sense because there’s less oxygen in water, but there should be some kind of reference value to know what’s the real impact. I would think absolute values of emissions from ponds are irrelevant when comparing with other sources, so it’s a 27% of something very low.
Doesn’t floating solar also reduce algae growth by limiting sunshine reaching the water?
Ok…? so this is not even an LCA evaluation, or some net increase between energy production savings and this increase in anaerobic methane production.
