What is the title of Chrysi Vardinogianni, the new wife of HRH Prince Nikolaos of Greece and Denmark? I know that in history, Greek princesses, via marriage, would take their husband's title and name. For example, when Princess Alice of Batenburg Married Prince Andrew of Greece and Denmark, she became Princess Andrew of Greece and Denmark. Another example would be when Irina Ovtchinnikova married Prince Peter of Greece and Denmark; she became Princess Peter of Greece and Denmark. Yet, in recent history, wives of Greek Princes have taken their husbands' titles but kept their names. For example, when Nina Flohr married Prince Philippos of Greece and Denmark, she became Princess Nina of Greece and Denmark. The Greek Royal website says nothing about her(Chrysi's) title. So what will it be? Will it follow the modern trend of HRH Princess Chrysi of Greece and Denmark, or maybe as she is a second wife, she will become HRH Princess Nikolaos of Greece and Denmark, or HH Princess Chrysi of Greece and Denmark, maybe even HRH Princess Chrysi of Greece(and not Denmark). Or possibly Chrysi, Mrs. Nikolaos de Grèce, using the titles givin by the Greek Republican Government to members of the Royal house.
