Tory donations rise as party continues to take money from Russia-linked backer

  1. Meanwhile, Boris Johnson refuses to say who is being sanctioned, there’s no evidence of any weapons being sent to Ukraine this week and we’re still placing obstacles in the way of Ukranian refugees.

  2. anyone looking into this/doing anything about this? Conflict of interest is the understatement, corruption, again, the key word.

  3. BoJo is like hmmmm well the thing is I don’t want to back up Russia …… but the other thing is I DO like MONEY lots and lots of MONEY …. Hmmmm what do I do here

  4. No no, they’re playing the long con. They’re going to drain Russia of all it’s money and then not do anything. Source: dude trust me.

  5. The Daily Mail hasn’t reported much, if anything, on Tory-Corrupt Russia relationships recently. They’ve critiqued the NHS a lot during the pandemic, who were still saving lots of lives; so as professionals the DM should be doing the same for this issue. I thought the DM hates Big Governments mis-using resources!

  6. So literally in the same day, the Russian military is bombing a nuclear facility and also paying the tories rise large sums of money for future campaigns… do we have a receipt for our political system? I’d like a refund

  7. I can’t wait for the EU members to start calling out these greedy cunts, I know unity is important but so is effective sanctions.

They should all resign in shame they are so compromised.

  8. Where are all these ‘donations’ going while the Tories claim we have no money and everything needs to go up??

  9. The fact they’ve ever received them is awful enough, but to continue accepting donations with that war going on is gross

  10. this group of people msut be the smartest idiots in the world. UK governing bodies need to be sanctioned as much as russian…

  11. You know fully, that when a Tory shows any support for something, it’s only to save their arses.

Gone we’re the days decades ago when conservatives preserved old ideas that worked.

Now are the days that conservative means conserving yourself & pals and no-one else for your own gain.

This must end, this shell of a man & party must become ash on the wind.

They make me fucking sick pretending to care for Ukraine & it’s people.

They’ve made it abundantly clear now that they are in the pockets of absolute trash.

  12. The comfortable middle is too happy, it’s only when they become vulnerable will they stand up. Once those who were deemed rich enough to be middle class who are having to lobby to WFH, because the rise in the cost of living and travel hasn’t been subsidised by any increase in wages. When their health concerns turn them into the vulnerable group because they can’t maintain work, and the quality of life that comes with it. Then we will see a shift. A steady flow of non-compliance, protest out of a desire to be heard, a call for loss of trust in leadership, and finally a form of political revolution that we may yet to be discovered. Economic defiance, or downing tools but a refusal on a national scale to continue paying into the system. Rather than losing lives people will lose homes, rather than giving into the councils, the taxes, the corrupt systems. Everyone at once will stop. The torrid don’t care about people, about lives, to them theses are something to be monetised from a position of legacy wealth. A lot of the Tory administration would never have to worry about their great-great-great grandchildren’s wealth because they have amassed so much. Their decisions now aren’t to support a positive infrastructure, it’s to take advantage of their position of privilege.

So until that comfortable middle tipples to bring the overall uncomfortable population to more than 60%. Things will continue, because it is these middle that watch in hope and say, “please, not in my lifetime.”
