Russian air strikes leave several dead, damage energy infrastructure in Ukraine • FRANCE 24

At least 11 people were killed on Saturday after Russia fired a torrent of drones and missiles on Ukraine, gutting dozens of residential buildings and damaging energy infrastructure across the country, according to Ukrainian officials.

  8. Despite significant military setbacks and mounting economic challenges, Putin has not changed his demands. Putin is not interested only in territory. He is interested in the destruction of Ukraine as a sovereign state.

    The United States should reject any peace agreement that undermines the key principle that Ukraine is a sovereign state. The moment we accept that Putin is only demanding negotiation on territorial boundaries and lose sight of the implications on Ukrainian sovereignty, we lose. Putin cannot keep up with his terror tempo.

  11. How is it that the Russians can never hit any military installations or buildings throughout the entire war? The news only reports civilian buildings being destroyed. I've never seen any reports of Russia successfully targeting military sites. How are they even able to fight? Meanwhile, Ukraine consistently manages to destroy Russian weapons depots, bases, and refineries. How is this war still going on? By now, Russia should be finished. It’s very strange—maybe Ukraine has no protection for its civilians.

  40. The peoples of the Donbass have been Russian for hundreds of years. who knows why the Soviets granted so much Russian Land with its peoples to the Ukrainian Oblast. They must have thought that the bond was too tight to be broken between the two sibling nations, and ensured that Russian Interests would always be safe with a high representation of ethnic Russians. – But then in 2014 Victoria Nuland and the US came along and installed a Rabid Ukrainian Nationalist govt, even though Yanokovich had already agreed to hold free and fair elections. This Nationalist govt has banned 15 opposition parties, denying millions of ethnic Russians their democratic rights, they are erasing their history in Ukraine, their ancestral culture, Their language and their religion. All under the threat of death or the option of «Going Back to Russia», this is the definition of ethnic cleansing and Vladimir Putin is on the right side of history to stand up against this Nationalist Govt and the US. God is on his side.
