Unfortunately this move, as cathartic as it would be, would include hospitals, long term care facilities, etc.
Would it be nice to let 50% of the people in these areas who are maga morons that their American Exceptionalism is a fraud? Absolutely.
But the other 1/2 gets hurt as well and this would give US leadership all the political coverage they need to invade Canada (see Russia v Ukraine). It would be an unjust reason.
