It seems to lay on the ground or possibly be nailed to a wall. Hope that helps.
It seems like it is in a reddit post.
Why are you so sure it‘s in Austria?
Bob Rosses Studio?
I see a happy little tree!
Torres del Paine in Chile?
Looks like the drei Zinnen in South Tyrol (Italy)
Its in Dolomiten the 3 Zinnen
Drei zinnen/Tre Cime di Lavaredo in sounds Tyrol/italy maybe ?
It somewhat resembles the “3 Zinnen” in South Tyrol, Italy, but from a different angle. However, if you search for the artist F. Käfinger, it appears they create paintings by blending elements from different landscapes.
Torres del paine could also be an option, but again with blending elements together
It is signed by “F. Käfinger” and according to search results he painted some other views of the Alps and also a small village in Tyrol.. So I would assume this scene displays a place somewhere in the Tyrolean Alps. But there’s not really much to find about this painter online.
That place only exists in the head of F. Käfinger.
Pretty sure this is fantasy. There’s no lake near the Tre Cime di Lavarefo except a small spring that only has some shrubs but no trees around because it’s too high up
There are two lakes near the Drei Zinnen. One is the bigger Misurina lake, which also has trees around the lake and the smaller one is Antorno lake.
The picture is dated 1961 so it could be that one of these lakes looked like this to that time.
Its not really it but the gosau see in upper austria looks kind of like that (since this view apparently doesnt exist irl according to some comments)

Reminds me of Drei Zinnen: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tre_Cime_di_Lavaredo
