15. Already is a coup to me. Trump has pushed the envelope already defying checks and balances. He allowed Elon access and DOGE with no background checks – a judge provided access. Trump and Elon actively play to their base. The information Elon has provided is not full information several news outlets have provided a more complete picture. Is there waste? I’m sure there is some – yet what is being called out has been appropriated by Congress which consists of both Republican and democrats. To me the corruption is how both parties line pockets, how actions are not taken due to lobbyists funds and influence. We have issues with how election funds are done – there should be caps on what can be allocated to campaigns. We have issues with outrageous costs of healthcare. These are not partisan issues they are bipartisan issues. What Elon and Trump are doing is creating a smoke screen while they grab our data and power. Yes there is corruption in DC yet the most corrupt thing currently imho is what Trump and Elon are doing. Press back on your senators and representatives- get them out before power is taken over then we need to look a limits, lobbyists, legislation etc. Trump and Elon have been allowed to to do this by dividing us. By playing to the based they created. We need to stand together and push back and get them out before it’s too late. They have fired or removed those where there is any inkling of not being aligned with Trump. FBI agents on leave and being investigated due to doing their job investigating J6? Highly dangerous. Federal workers fired for doing what Congress allocated? These two are creating hate so we are divided. Yes we have issues yet I believe this is a coup. Divided we are unable to conquer. We must do it together. The USAID provided not only assistance to other counties to stabilize but to the US as well and only one percent of our budget. Elon provided info that enraged his base. He used keywords to detect waste – waste should be determined by goals of program and outcome. We have seen none of this. This already is a coup we just need to wake up quickly before our country as we know it is completely gone
