   >”We are taking the suspected border violation seriously and have immediately launched an investigation,” Finland’s Defence Minister Antti Häkkinen noted.

   >Finland is also working to repatriate a teenager who crossed the closed border with Russia and was detained and placed in a juvenile offender centre. Russian media reported that he is a 13-year-old boy from a Ukrainian family who has been granted temporary protection in Finland.

   – 2017 – a Russian Tupolev TU-154 airplane… over the Gulf of Finland

   Nothing to see here folks, completely normal Russian hijinks.

   The problem of course is that as this becomes “normal”, the day Russia actually *intends* maleficence, everyone will just think it’s another 2 minute airspace violation….

9. Can’t they just…shoot it down?

   What’s the point of having AA weapons and jet fighters if shitty Russian government aircrafts can enter your air space like they owns it?

    Russia has a really short memory when it comes to Finland. It’s like they don’t remember AT ALL what happened last time.

    Or maybe Russians were all taught that Russia won in Finland just like it won in Afghanistan.
