Israeli Troops Withdraw From Netzarim Corridor in Gaza • Israel’s military withdrew from the Netzarim Corridor under the cease-fire with Hamas. During the war, troops patrolled the zone that splits the territory, preventing evacuated Palestinians from returning north.

  1. I am curious how long the ceasefire will actually lasts, especially when you make deals with a terrorist organization such as Hamas. You can’t really trust those people at all, we’ve seen that many times over.

Edit: it’s just disappointing that many good subs have been completely taken over by this trash supporting hamas.

    >My children can’t find work, and I can’t afford the medication I need,” the 44-year-old tells Middle East Eye.

    >“The constant displacement, hunger, bombings, and humiliation in the south eventually pushed me to make the difficult decision to return to the north, despite the risks.”

    >At the checkpoint in the Netzarim corridor, some Israeli soldiers listened to her, while others remained silent. All of them rejected her pleas to return to her home.

    >Without warning, she says, Israeli forces began shooting at people who had approached the corridor, hoping to return home.

    >“One of the women, a 35-year-old, was shot twice – once in the back and once below her chest,” Lashin told MEE.

Remember that this was the site of arbitrary war crimes against civilians.

  3. Ok stop attacking the west bank too pls thx because what is this? Also Golan Heights, anyone? This all still seems rather farcical, albeit different to how it was before.

  4. I remember this sub a few years ago when it still cared about content quality. After the Chodi sub got banned, the sub got a massive influx of zealous Indian nationalists who would spam this sub with pro-Indian/anti-Pakistan posts and comments to the point where it diluted the sub’s quality and derailed it’s purpose. It was the same bunch of accounts and it was obvious to everyone that they were not going to respect the sub’s rules.

The mods at the time took quick action to get rid of those accounts and add restrictions to maintain the sub’s quality. They did some similar before with Chinese content after there was a big influx of anti-Chinese posts and comments. Keep mind, these posts and comments were not reasonable criticisms or opinions, they were clearly made in bad faith to push an agenda. The mods took action when it was needed.

Now the same thing is happening again with pro-Palestinian/anti-Israeli posts and comments. It’s the same 7 or 8 accounts that are causing the same problems, constantly violating the rules, and diluting the sub’s quality… but the mods are nowhere to be found. I guess this sub’s days of being one of the few high quality news communities on this site are over. It’s sad, but this sub now joins r internationalnews and r worldnews as just another propaganda sub masquerading as something more.
