Längbro Church is located near Risbergska School, where Tuesday’s violent attack took place. The Crown Princess and Prince also visited the memorial site outside the school, where they laid flowers and lit a candle.

    On February 4, 2025, a school shooting occurred at Campus Risbergska, an adult education center in Örebro. Eleven people were killed, including the perpetrator, and six others were injured. The shooter was identified as 35-year-old Rickard Andersson, but his motives for the attack are still under investigation by the Swedish Police Authority and the Swedish Security Service. Örebro is the seventh-largest city in Sweden.
