Elon Musk’s company, Starlink, appeared in a T-Mobile advertisement during the Super Bowl 2025.

Starlink is a satellite network owned by the 53-year-old billionaire’s company, SpaceX.

The commercial focuses on how T-Mobile partnered with Starlink to expand phone coverage in a unique way.

The narrator in the one-minute video states, “T-Mobile partnered with Starlink to launch hundreds of satellites, creating the only space-based Network that automatically connects to the phone you already have.”

The video showcases images of Earth from space as different clips capturing life moments like a mother holding a baby, a basketball game, and an infant taking her first steps. Additionally, text bubbles pop up on the screen with messages like “Why isn’t this sending??” and “Are you getting these videos?” The narrator explains that many vital messages go undelivered because “there are over 500,000 square miles of the US unreachable by any cell phone tower.”

The ad was posted on YouTube, and in the caption, the mobile provider shared more details about their work with the Tesla founder’s company.

“T-Mobile is taking wireless to the next level- literally, powered by Starlink. 📡✨ We’re expanding our network like never before—so you can experience coverage in more places than ever,” the caption read. “With T-Mobile’s satellite-to-mobile technology, you can turn your phone into a satellite phone and stay connected in places you never thought possible.”

The caption further read, “From rugged mountain peaks to remote lakes, we’re pushing the boundaries of connectivity—bringing you closer to the moments that matter. If you can see the sky, you’re connected. No more missed moments. No more unanswered messages.”
