  2. Not to get political but it’s because the Trump people are dismantling everything AND completely incompetent at the same time so they can’t even get the criminals out. I fear, however, this means they’ll start rounding random people up or just making up numbers.

    And the ‘estimate’ for Trump that you are using to try to make it look like the Biden administration actually did anything is laughable.

  6. Nice chart. I’d be interested to see a companion chart showing the number of people who entered the country, and a final chart showing the difference between entry and deportation.

  8. Trump admin sent over 500 agents (on the tax payers dime) to make 1 arrest in Aurora Colorado. Tells you everything you need to know.

  9. So is each number the combined total between the months and the included month? Or just that specific month.

    Also Seems like a lot of people aren’t reading that Trumps 1st month is an estimate here lol

  10. The COVID stat somehow ruins this and I feel like it should not even be here (expulsion vs deportation). If you hide the yellow, it also looks like suddenly deportations halved during covid. Is that what actually happened? Was covid used as an excuse to deport more? The graph raises alot of questions

  11. This is one of those stats that without other information it can show whatever you want it to.

    High deportation? You’re either effective at deportations, or you have a weak border policy, or both.

    Low deportation? You’re either not doing anything, or you’re doing so much at the border there’s no one to deport, or even there’s just no people crossing

  14. Do those statistics include refusal of entry at airports? Wondering because the COVID numbers seem awfully high..

  16. Anyway people can quantify or show what type of deportations? Not just the number but who was deported (criminal record etc..)?
