    It wasn’t a play fight, he brutally murdered his daughter and pretended it was an accident.

  6. Play fighting is recreating the WWE moves they say don’t try at home, play fighting is not stabbing your daughter with a knife with enough force to go that deep with a knife. Even with a closed fist the amount of force exerted likely would have cause some serious bruising that couldn’t be described as ‘play’ fighting.

    The issue is that he has a prior knife attack conviction. He slashed a man in the face. So now his defense has to show it’s a coincidence. A man once convicted of slicing a man is now playing around with a knife with his daughter. Did he not learn anything from his last punishment? He’s a repeat offender no matter what he claims about either case.

    And this event happened right after the daughter made fun of him and the mother was turned away. Forensic evidence also said it wasn’t merely some play thing as he must have been holding onto the knife with force. A daughter dying the moment after she made fun of her dad goes to motivation which the prosecution doesn’t even need to prove, at least in countries like USA, yet here they have it.

    And the jury convicted him 10-2 of murder instead of the much more lenient manslaughter charge. 2 out of 12 did somewhat doubt the prosecution story. But most people, after getting all crucial evidence, saw him as a murderer. He got life in prison with a possibility of parole after 15 years which I assume he’ll get as he will be old by then.

  12. In all the posts I’ve seen about this there’s one thing that’s never discussed and it’s the most confusing part. Why would the mothers account of what happened match his so precisely?

  19. Good, I never believed his story, I would never play fight with a knife and I doubt he did. He was almost certainly a terrible and abusive father. Hope he enjoys his time at His Majesty’s pleasure.

    Says he would never harming her when they are at the trial for him literally harming her.

  25. These comments are disgraceful. Most of you probably don’t even have kids to understand how easily play fighting can go wrong. This poor dad, likely already in serious amounts of grief because of the loss of his daughter is now spending a long time I’m prison on top of it. Terrible. Now if you’ll excuse me, me and my son got our latest set of zombie knives and hand grenades, we’ll be playing outside in the garden.

  26. His account didn’t didn’t make any sense. Who throws a knife over their shoulder without looking and it just so happens to go four inches deep and perfectly hit the target in the heart.
