    > The list of arrested people includes Boyko Borisov, Vladislav Goranov, ex-head of budget commission Mensa Stoyanova, and ex-government spokesperson Sevdalina Arnaudova, the Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed for the Bulgarian National Television.

  2. EU prosecutor Laura Kövesi was in Bulgaria the last few days. Probably they wanted to impress her and will let this fucker go once she flies back.

  3. If that’s your first PM arrested for corruption, welcome to the club.

    Seriously, that’s good. Even if he’s released in the end, years of trials and political death are at least some punishment.

  4. I can’t believe it actually happened. Hopefully the trial won’t be a farce and they’ll get a fair judgement.
