  4. Good. It was a stupid virtue signaling move when paper was mandated. Same with paper bags, almost everything you buy in the store is wrapped in plastic anyway. Only done to make people feel better about themselves with no real benefit to the environment.

  7. I can’t think of a more unnecessary “luxury” than a single use straw. I can drink from a cup just fine without it.

  9. I get it – have you ever seen how big a drink is in the US? They’re GIANT. Everything down there is (I’m Canadian). The small drink in some fast food places is bigger than a large here. So I can see why they aren’t impressed with paper straws – it would take me all day to drink one of those drinks – the paper straw wouldn’t last.
