Nice to see the SDLP putting human rights above smoozing with American corporations. Hopefully this puts more pressure within Sinn Fein to fall into line with the wishes of the grassroots.

I am boycotting the Windsor Family’s Easter party at Sandringham and also the Champions League final, and the hospitality at Cheltenham.

I agree with the stance but do the SDLP actually get an invite ?
SDLP was actually correct in my opinion over Gaza, by boycotting the White House.
In their rants about SF they never once mentioned their partner parties both FF and FG attended but you wouldn’t know that from their demeanor, to then actually sit on Kier Starmers government bench, the man who said Israel had the right to withhold water, fuel, electricity and food.
It’s almost like SDLP are using the genocide of Gaza for their own gain.
Good on ya, as John Hume said in those famous lines “dont speak to people you disagree with” pfff
The SDLP were happy to accept scum landlord as a councillor, an expense fiddling member and a core of anti-abortion culchie members.
Now they lack the sophistication to interact with foreign governments who think differently from them for the good of the wider community. This is what all governments do. They need to grow up. Perhaps the Palestinians will invest in Northern Ireland?
I promise you 99.9% of Americans have no idea what the SDLP is, nor do they care. Not getting political, simply stating a fact.

As good a leader as Claire has been, she always looks like she needs to pull a brush through her hair. Gives the look that she’s constantly frazzled.
I think we should distance ourselves from Trump and his administration as much as possible. What he is proposing in Gaza is diabolical.
