After we have not send each other letters over the last 6 years, i don’t want to neglect/miss/fail to Write you some lines today in hope, that you and your parents are still fine like myself. As you can see from the shipper/sender(??) i am currently also a Prisoner of war just like you eventough i hope to not spend as much time here as you (as a prisoner of war) i always think this sorrow will be over sometime. I spoke to your uncle the last time in January 45 he is still alright. Comrades who got captured there told me that the village has not been damaged further. Besides of that i don’t know what else i could Report today. I would be very happy to see some lines from you soon
