  1. Honestly.. I’m sick. I posted about this back in December and he’s only been sentenced now- and to 4 years at that. In court today, during the sentencing- to get him a reduced sentence his BARRISTER said “oh well not to mention his wife will miss him terribly”. 3 words. What. The. Fuck?!

  2. “Mr Craven’s barrister, Kathleen Leader SC, read out her client’s long-standing career working with vulnerable children in a number of centres including the Daughters of Charity and Jobstown Family Centre”

This man should never ever have access to vulnerable children. If he did it to his own family what’s to say he didn’t do it to other children he had access to? JFC the amount of predators hiding in plain sight is terrifying.

  3. Alan Jenkins is my father, this happened to my father during his whole childhood. And the turmoil that has carried on since

the way tusla treated this. The way the courts treated this, our legal system is well and truly fucked and words can’t comprehend how much of an emotional rollercoaster this has been. This has affected our whole family, my father doesn’t know how to love properly, he deals with so many struggles to this day because of Paul craven.

My heart has ached these last 13 weeks, as Paul roamed free with excuse after excuse to not be sentenced, he was selling his house, he had to buy a new one, his barristers weren’t available the list will go on and on about this pricks carry on.

Paul you are a wretched man. You worked with children in homes, you worked with sexually abused children while you went home and sexually abused a child yourself you horrible scumbag. You will never understand what this has caused for me in my life, and especially my father’s life. You will NEVER be forgiven. You are my nanny’s sister, you chose to abuse your own flesh and blood when he was an orphan, as he had no one else to turn to.

I PRAY this makes rte news because TUSLA YOU ARE NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. You do not give a fiddlers fuck about children and you do NOT have their best interests at heart. When claims came out about Paul you gave him a fucking promotion you pigs.

PLEASE Give this article a read and please, please share. Never be afraid to speak out💚

  4. I have a nephew of that age. Just HOW in the name of God could he do that?! His nephew who looked up to him, trusted him, and very vulnerable at that. Shocking.

  5. Your dad waived his right to anonymity to save others from this hell.
He’s good man… I hope he has better years in the future.

  6. I’m so sorry this happened to your father. The sentencing for pedophiles in this country is an absolute joke and just incredibly disrespectful to the victim and their family. I have to say your dad is an extremely brave man for waiving his anonymity to name this disgusting excuse for a human. I hope your family can try and heal

  7. Who in the fu*k are these awful people?? Giving character references.

Róisín Elliot, who worked with Mr Craven at the Daughters of Charity, said: “There was never a hint of impropriety of any sort in relation to his work at the time.” While another colleague Mark Murry said Craven was a “man of compassion and integrity”.

  8. Your Dad is so brave, he’ll give courage to other victims of this animal or other victims in the place he worked. Because I think it’s really suspicious that instead of an outright condemnation of his actions he got a bunch of glowing character reports.

I really wish nothing but good things for you all.

  9. My heart breaks for you and your family. Hope this scumbag rots in hell

  10. >Mr Craven’s barrister, Kathleen Leader SC, read out her client’s long-standing career working with vulnerable children in a number of centres including the Daughters of Charity and Jobstown Family Centre.

    >She also read extracts of several “glowing” sworn affidavits following Craven’s conviction, from friends and colleagues.

Surely be to God this makes his actions even more horrific. I don’t understand how these presumably professional people could ever write a character statement for this man? If I heard of a colleague doing this my first instinct would be revulsion. Is that not how most people react??

OP sending your Dad, your family and yourself much love and solace.

  11. The people who give abusers “glowing references” are fucking scum too.

  12. There should be some sort of moral or career repercussions for all the people who vouched for him both before and after the verdict. Imagine giving a public character reference for a monster like that and still expecting to be respected in the community! Oust them all.

  13. Your father is a wonderful, brave man to face his abuser in court. I can’t even imagine the damage this animal caused your poor father and as a result the rest of his family. Hopefully, his bravery will help protect other children and encourage other survivors of abuse to come forward. I wish your father and your family peace and healing.

  14. Probably the most evil, depraved act/crime and still there are character witnesses saying how ‘good’ he really is.

Jimmy Saville’s family knew what he was doing but said nothing because he paid for their sun holidays. Can’t trust people.

  15. Sorry to hear of your family’s experience. Hope you find some level of comfort seeing him finally convicted. If I may ask, you said the wife was hysterical, does she claim he’s innocent? Or was it hysteria over the fact she now knows what he’s done? Seen a few of these stories over the last few days, sickening to see this kind of thing

  16. “Glowing affidavits” it’d make you want to puke.
There was no doubt he’d end up working with vulnerable kids – like that’s a good thing? considering he’s a nonce who preyed on his own vulnerable nephew?

  17. Fair play to your father on his bravery in waiving anonymity. I’m glad he finally got vindicated even if 4 years is a disgrace of a sentence.

  18. It mentions he’s been added to the ‘sex offenders registry’ so I googled it to see if there’s any sex offenders in my area and Ireland’s version is not available to the public apparently. Absolutely fantastic job lads well done.
