  7. I actually would applaud them for thinking creatively. That said, the programs they are cutting have unquantifiable value. USAID is arguably a critical component of our foreign policy and you can’t put a price on that. Now you might argue that hey that’s why it should be cut, but to cut without assessing its value seems haphazard and lazy.

    Say I need a haircut. And it’s bad. I look homeless and terrible. I suppose a barber could start hacking at my head with some scissors and you might achieve some mild success but wouldn’t you prefer a more methodical barber? Maybe one that assesses your hair in the mirror, asks you “1 or 2?”

    Elon is just hacking at hair. Maybe it is really bad but since I can’t see Americas hair in the mirror I honestly can’t tell. They are clearly copycatting Milei’s haircut in Argentina. That one looks ok in the front but the back is bleeding.

  10. The hypocrisy is that Trump will also push for tax cuts, which will wipe out any paltry spending decreases Elon finds.
