  1. That’s because it fucking is extortion. “Give me your nations wealth or I’m gonna feed you to the orks”

Americans should be ashamed of themselves. I am, and I’ve put a lot of blood sweat and tears into the Ukrainian struggle to exist.

Now I just feel like I’m here to atone for the sins of my people.

Shame on everyone who sat this election out, shame on everyone who voted for fascism. And shame on the DNC for softballing weak corporatist cucks as presidential candidates.

    America is a banana republic.

  2. I hate all this timeline but if they could negotiate Crimea back with 600 billion in materials (labour included from Ukraine tax deductible wages) and a number of cities and towns infrastructure rebuilt in thst price tag. Like actual best Western nations like Finland and Canada levels it’s worth it. American interest will be protected by the US military and if we could have this tomorrow we should all want it. We don’t and we’re far off but perspective is important. My kids 5 and I’m praying he’s not a conscript at this point.

  3. 500 million is chicken feed. Trump is transactional in his thinking, and if that will bring him in line behind Ukraine then do it. That price is nothing compared to the billions in military aid that have already flowed from the US so it’s not even really a losing deal. Not to mention, Trump will be motivated to defend his stake in that mineral rich land.

  4. I don’t like Trump, but making the US dependent on Ukrainian exports would ensure long term support.

  5. Europe and Ukraine need to stand together and not count on the US any longer as they are a country in rapid decline. Together you can achieve greatness while watching in amazement as the American empire crumbles before you.

  6. Do they condemn Russia and China for using coercion, war, and chaos to subjugate African nations for their resources? We banned blood diamonds so why not ban other resources? Poaching Trump from Russian influence is strategic. Trump probably sees Russia as a fucking loser anyway this time around for not winning the war within days. If Russia was winning he’d be openly offering deals with Russia for these resources while lifting sanctions on Russia. Putin fucked himself hard

  7. Those are natural resources, not rare Earth minerals. That’s probably what people are saying to fool Trump. He’s easily fooled and not very bright.

Trump will do the right thing for the wrong reasons.

As an American I am embarrassed. He should be in prison… instead we put him back in power. I don’t understand it.

  8. Just say yes now and back out later after everything is done and it’s too late… just like DJT would do.

  9. As long as it doesn’t impact the war plan, this should be fine for now. Ukraine can push for Nato and kick the US miners out if they win. As a Canuck I don’t mind if it’s bloody either. Remember that this war started because Ukraine wanted the Russian oligarchs out. It won’t end by letting the American and Russian oligarchs back in.

My concern is that Musk prioritizes taking the Donbas first over Crimea. That could extend the war by years if not decades as with Afghanistan. Musk has a habit of meddling with shit.

  10. The elephant in the room (resources) had to be acknowledged sooner or later. Like, the main reason we’re at war. Either the rare earth minerals go to the East or the West. Either we are reaching or we let it slide.

  11. Imagine if the US invaded Donetsk and Luhansk to get the rare earth back from Russia.

  12. Tell Trump what ever he wants to hear. Let the adults figure it out!
