For whatever reason, the Philadelphia 76ers did not blow it up at the 2024 NBA trade deadline despite being among the worst ball clubs in the league’s Eastern Conference. Evidently, they think that some better luck in terms of health when it comes to the likes of star big man Joel Embiid and veteran wing Paul George could get them back into the mix of postseason teams.
Are the Sixers a threat to the Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, New York Knicks and other top teams in the East? Former Celtics floor general Jeff Teague recently weighed in on that particular question on an episode of his “Club 520” podcast.
