This is a loaded post, I should have read some more information about it first. Apparently this is all snow from last season they conserved with a special isolation foil which is more environmentally friendly than usual methods.

White strip of death. I’d still ski it.
I prefer skiing once everything is covered in snow. Has a better feel to it.
Imo those white strips always look unnatural and wrong.
New England here. Jealous! We’re still a couple weeks out.

As a native Austrian, i feel ashamed about the global warming. I lived in East Tyrol till 2009 and i can’t imagine any Fall or Winter without Snow all over the place, even in the Valley where almost everyone is living. I hated to plow the Snow as a kid every Day before School, sometimes almost one full Meter of fresh Snow. Now my friends who still live there are happy if they see snow falling at all.
I miss the snow 🙁
