  6. Genuinely, given that almost 2/3 of the support for Ukraine is European. If the US and Russia sign a paper saying that these are the terms of Ukraine’s surrender, what real incentive does Ukraine have to say yes, given that much of the support is not American?

  12. The one who wins the war usually decides how it ends, it’s consequential, so yes if ukraine wins that statement is true, but so far there is no clear winner or end in sight.

  31. This is idle posturing. If aid is withheld, Ukraine falls.It is not unreasonable for Ukraine’s benefactors to have conditions and expectations.

    So it is that the main players decide, and Im not sure we can consider ukraine to be a main player considering their dependance on support.

  32. Coming from the UK, I feel Trudeau’s resignation will be a big loss to the international community at a time when we’re having to deal with Trump 2.0. My own government has been spineless so far, I wish they’d take a leaf out of JT’s book.
