I’m looking for a rarer cross breed and there’s slim to none here in Ireland, hence my thoughts of getting it from the UK as they’re available there.
As far as I can tell I need to have a rabies vaccination on the puppy, but other than that it seems relatively simple, but the information is often… lacking

Are there no dogs in Ireland who need a home? There must be at least one. Try to find him. : )
If you’re planning to bring it over legitimately, I heard that it’s a nightmare to get a passport for the thing since Brexit – according to a friend who recently brought his over when moving here
It’s a tricky one as many British dogs still struggle with centuries of breeding to attack Irish people.

That’ll be a downvote from me. Rescue a dog, yes it’s a pain in the hole dealing with a rescue place. If you’re able for a collie husky cross you’re able for whatever dog the rescue will throw at you
Bring it through Larne/Belfast. stick it in car and drive over. No checks
