They care more about that their Instagram is blocked or McDonald’s is closed, than that their government attacked a foreign country, killing civilians, and their army are committing war crimes every 5 minutes.

I think it would be wrong not to. Many Russians are unaware of what is happening in Ukraine. It fair warning of what reception they might receive.
They’ll say whatever they have to, in order to get to safety.
While I understand the reason they flee, part of me is also annoyed they don’t stay behind and remove putin.
They (Russians) need to know what is happening – the truth is being kept from them.
The ones leaving are the ones that know exactly what is going on and know their country is going to shit, and getting the eff out of there. Welcome them with open arms. Russians always have had some of the world’s greatest engineers, but the days of Russia benefiting from that have ended.

As long as Russians are being treated normally, sure.
People in Russia care. It’s just very difficult to stay sane when you are being bombarded with sanctions and isolation for something you literally can’t change. So yeah, some turn to government- the whole world hates you, what else can you do?
