Yeah, maybe they said, “but stocks go up” instead of “fuck off”, but I have this thing where I translate what people say into what they mean based on their actions, and they meant “fuck off”.
Every election we have to hear “yeah ok we are fucking evil but we’re less evil than them”, and then as soon as the election is over win or lose, they conveniently forget and deny that they are fucking evil and pretend like the other side has a monopoly on it.
And every time you point this out you have some blue MAGA telling you that “pointing out that we are evil too is why we lost”, and it’s like, no asshole, being fucking evil is why you lost. The country reads at a 6th grade level, and you are expecting some nuanced harm reduction take on the scale of the entire fucking electorate? Be fucking for real.
