    * William H. Macy and his neighbor Pierce Brown have reached a settlement following their years-long legal dispute, according to documents obtained by PEOPLE.
    * The *Shameless* actor was sued by Brown for $600,000 in April 2023 for allegedly “knowingly and intentionally” cutting down trees belonging to Brown.
    * Macy denied the claims at the time and said that Brown’s allegations were “careless, reckless, and negligent.”

  7. The more I read about this guy, the more I think he was just playing himself in Shameless.

  8. Im ok with William H Macy being a vandalous neighbor and bribing schools and I’m ok with him being caught. I’ve watched enough Shameless that it just seems right, as does him suffering the consequences.

    Point is, this in no at taints his performances, he’s always seemed, even when not playing a and guy, like someone who could be pushed to be a real prick under the wrong circumstances.

  10. My dad met him in the early 2000s when he used to work at a lumber store in Hollywood where Macy would come in and buy lumber. My dad says he was the biggest prick out of all the celebrities that would go there, wouldn’t tip and quite demanding.

    So seeing this doesn’t surprise me one bit.
