  1. >“For decades, the Wayans family has been at the forefront of comedy, breaking barriers and opening doors for waves of entertainers,” NAACP president and CEO Derrick Johnson said. “Their trailblazing work in television, film, and stand-up has transcended pop culture and cemented their legacy in the NAACP Image Awards Hall of Fame. Recognizing their achievements with this induction is a celebration of a multi-generational legacy that continues to advance and uplift communities. The Wayans family has set a standard of excellence, and their influence resonates far beyond the stage and screen.”

  2. The Wayans family doesn’t just break molds, they smash ’em with a sledgehammer, throw on a wig, and make you laugh till you cry, now that’s Hall of Fame material!

  3. Damn. The WHOLE family? Thats a wholesale deal of the century. The Indians & Chinese gave their nod of approval for this bargain.

  4. I grew up watching the Wayans in movies and shows. I have fond memories of my entire family laughing. In living color was a regularly scheduled family program in my house dammit.
A white family from a small white town that tuned in regularly to watch black people. Also it was some of the first programming, that I saw, that didn’t portray the black character as the delinquent/criminal/ gang member/ crack head/ homeless only. Well sometimes they did those things but in a hilarious manner. (Looking at you homie the clown!)

Don’t get me started on how many times I watched my bootleg of Mo Money 💰 that I ripped from the tv with all the commercials cause I was a dumb kid. “Pay yo fare, pay yo fare.” Omg

Ahh it takes me down memory lane. The summer of 92 I believe?
I learned something’s that summer. My poop chute is exit only and them Wayans be funny AF.

  5. It’s about damn time

Especially with Marlon defending his trans kid from transphobes lately, I love this family so much
