  1. True. Interesting 4 years ahead. Europe will try to stay committed to Ukraine. Meanwhile, as Trump dumps the USA’s allies, he also sets the US up for terrorist attacks with his words and actions regarding Gaza. They won’t be receiving much if any help when they want to retaliate like they did after 9/11. It’s going to be lonely with only Israel as a guaranteed ally. Nothing good happens when you stab friends in the back.

  2. This syphilitic asshole is just making friends everywhere. Hi from Canada.

  3. Can;t be any worse than Obama’s meeting where the hot mic made it clear he would have more freedom in his second term, and then watched as Russia invaded Ukraine and claimed Crimea during his second term.

  4. time for europe to get its shit together america is out…they will have enough problems at home…they are busy dismantling their country wont have time to do anything..i dont see the problem start building up the defense industry pronto…hire more soldiers…it all creates jobs what the issue it fixes unemployment problems boosts the trade and economy and makes us safer…just do it.

  5. It isn’t America first because this behaviour weakens the US. It will also likely cost the US more in the long run. Trump is getting revenge on Ukraine for not agreeing to fake Hunter Biden information when he was last president.
With Europe now busy defending Europe, it is now up to the US to take on China by themselves. Trump had Putin over a barrel. Now instead we may face a resurgent Russia and China together in the future.
But Europe can’t be trusted to defend Europe either…just see how quickly they start buying oil again.

  6. as if Biden’s team did not contact Putin, right…

  7. I’m anxious to see a secret service agent grow some balls and solve this problem from within. Defending the US from enemies both foreign and domestic etc. Would save hundreds of thousands of lives.

  8. It’s fine of USA wants to align itself with Russia. There’s only losses for USA in it, but upside is that Europe wakes up and China goes into panic.

  9. Europe won’t publicly distance themselves from the US; trade is too important, NATO membership (for what it’s worth) is too important, US supplying a lot of energy to Europe is too important.

However, this week will go down in history as when the ‘schism’ between the US and the rest of the West took place, it’ll have its own chapter in the history books. There is no coming back from this even in 4 years (if you’re optimistic enough to believe that Trump will give up power). Someone from the UK was suggesting the UK would be there to support the US in a conflict with China but that’s a fairytale. 20 years ago NATO countries were there for the US in Afghanistan and Iraq and this is how their sacrifice was paid back, with a stab in the back.

The US is and will remain for a while the most powerful single nation in the world, but without its allies it’s influence will wane rather rapidly. The best hope the civilised world has got is that European leaders have been planning for this eventuality for a while and have a plan to enact. For the US, it’s bye bye.

  10. Fuck Trump and any idiotic gullible enough to believe his lies and vote for him. We deserve all the terrible things that are about to happen to us.

  11. Should Chine attack the USA, you’re on your own buddy.

  12. He’s getting himself further away from the Nobel Peace Prize for increasing the odds of more war by strengthening the parties set out to topple America.

  13. Methinks Trump got some money under the table for sucking Putin off.

  14. I hate Trump. Hate.
And I’m so disappointed about the voters who voted for him.

  15. It is time for the US to be expelled from European security policy and for us to create a European defense union with such strength and coordination that we can defend our freedom and democracy to the east and to the west.

  16. This bloated orange turd needs to hurry up and succumb to his dementia

  17. Europe will be under Islamic control before long anyway.

  18. I knew one day I’d have to watch powerful men burn the world down – I just didn’t expect them to be such losers

  19. We know. America had made up it’s mind. It’s no longer a reliable ally. Europe has to get it’s shit together fast. Unified army, border, infrastructure and more power and good people to the EU parlement. We have to start voting for europe instead of our own countries.

  20. With one phone call, Trump has crushed over 200 years of close trade and military alliances by palling up with Russia, the literal enemy of all of the EU, which has been intruding on European politics (Trump has accused Europe of intruding on US politics simply for making public statements). Also, the UK’s understanding nature was the only reason the US had any say in Europe. Trump has made wild and racist accusations, encouraging his followers to insult us, mock us for tight gun laws, not realising that the UK, not being insanely racist, is incredibly offended when America tells people that it’s being ‘overrun’ with ethnic diversity,

Trump wants to isolate? So be it.

I wonder if many Americans realise the gravity of their leader’s insults? And we’re not talking ‘In 20 years’. We’re talking “Starting right now and lasting maybe forever.”

  21. US Allies: Trump is undermining the US’ power and influence while damaging our relationships

Reasonable Americans: Trump is undermining the US’ power and influence while damaging our relationships

High ranking defense officials: Trump is undermining the US’ power and influence while damaging our relationships

Trump supporters: Guys, trump is making America great again, we are going to be the most respected and influential country in the world.

    I hate this timeline.

  22. It’s important for Europe to step up, hit Putin hard, and give the Finger to Trump and his Russian asset minions.

  23. Blocking trolls is easy. They have immune this sub with their childish politically inflamed rhetoric. We’re here to support and discuss Ukraine, not make this sub about US politics.

*block, block, block, block… Don’t believe for a second that this is how the world sees things just because a group of Russian trolls want to stir up dissention*

  24. One more nudge and Russia would have toppled over like bowling pins. All this does is buy ten years of peace before Russia tests the waters and tries this again.

  25. Np we got China to discuss with, they need our money so we can get a good deal and ignore US. Until Trump and their voters crawl back to us. And we say “It’s too late, bitches”

  26. Trump is manipulating NATO. He won’t leave NATO because he has now proven he can make it ineffective at its prime objectives. He will keep USA in NATO to leverage Putin to give him the materials he wants to enrich himself and his kleptocratic cronies.

Best thing Europeans and Canada could do is kick USA out of NATO. That’s what Trump ultimately wants but he’s just fucking it around to get his own outcomes at the expense of Ukraine and empowering Putin .

Trump’s ego and belief he can bully everyone and any state will be his downfall. He thought he’d neutralise Europeans but they have just shown unity and commitment that could ensure Russia does not have the materials and resources from seized lands and so Trump has no guarantee anymore. He’s fucked himself.

I’m hoping NATO’s NAC votes to dump USA and. Trumps power play to see put Ukraine and neutralise NATO will be as fucked as he is!

  27. An united Europe does not need Trump.

We can finally stop to even remotely consider America an ally, and we have to organize and build our own defence.

  28. Trump did it, but the people voted him in. So yeah the whole USA needs to wear this.

  29. The writing has been on the wall for 10 years… And instead of taking note we have been wasting that time by making absurd regulations no body cares and financing more NGOs.
