The English and Irish people just have the right kinda heads for this style of hat. The newsboy, paddy cap, flat cap whatever you want to call it is a classic round these parts. So long as you’re not wearing sports gear it looks good so I’d say whenever you start wearing trousers instead of just jeans and sweatpants is when they come into there own
Depends. They come into fashion every so often either 70 or 15 depending on the fashion at the time ( last time I remember was Indy music scenes of the 2010s)

Our kid gave us a flat cap for my 21st (I think) birthday cos he said I act like an old man. It was a joke, I didn’t wear it for about 15 years til I was working as a gardener. They’re actual really practical. Also a sexy lady said it suited me, so I started wearing it outside of work too.
