Don’t jump to conclusions. Due to the idiotic electoral system (introduced by orban) with majority of seats decided in a fptp system anything can happen.
That means that national average is less important than electoral map – if in one area opposition wins by .5% and in another orban wins by 10% they will count the same (or the other way around).
also whereas fptp elections are notoriously dificult to predict, in Hungary we have much higher than average people not willing to disclose their voting intentions.

Just as a sidenote. Don’t believe these polls. They are all bullshit. It is incredibly easy to manipulate polling results to produce the desired result. These polls are all politically motivated and are done in a way to show that either party has a “huge lead” ahead of the other.

On average they have about a 7 point lead with decided voters. It would be reasonable to assume they will win this election
How is that possible ?
I though Hungarians were not Putin’s big fans and were in average pro-EU. What is the thing that keep them voting for Viktor Orban ?
Is the other competitor for United Hungarian opposition so bad ?
