  1. What a world we live in.

I feel somewhat vindicated in that the guy who got nicked for burning the Koran was arrested under a section 5. Look at what happens if you do this stuff. You’re arresting the guy so he doesn’t get murdered.

  2. There’s no way to say this without sounding sarcastic but an incredibly brave man. Burning Qurans is one of very few acts that will get immediate life threatening consequences, not only that but the state will then prosecute you and your name and address will be public and your life will be at risk for many years to come.

  3. But when Utman does it there’s no problem. Look into it. He literally burned entire copies because he didn’t like them.

  4. Burning of all religious books including the Quran should be normalised if it offends people so much. And if you feel the need to cause harm somebody for doing so then you’re not fit to be amongst the general population.

  5. The taliban are pashtun muslims, that’s their docterine. Over 100,000 muslims in the UK are also pashtun muslims, they follow the same set of beliefs.

  6. I’m pleasantly surprised that the attacker has been arrested rather than the victim.

  7. I may not agree with his burning of it. I apply that in general to book burning.

But he has a right to do it, as is his freedom of speech. You don’t have to like it, but you do not have the right to react with violence. If you disagree with him, do it through words.
