Last i heard noone really wanted Kaliningrad, because why someone would want random land full of foreign people (Russians in this case)?
And i doubt Russia wants to lose it, because it’s strategically important spot for their navy.
Also this is just opinion of some former commander, not active general, he can tell anything he wants.
Maybe Germany wants Königsberg back ?

Would be interesting to make a referendum in Kaliningrad and ask do the people who live there want to join Poland or Lithuania, which would also be de-facto joining the EU. Plenty of Russians ashamed to be Russian and wanting nothing to do with Putin anymore. If Russians in Crimea had a referendum on joining, I don’t see why Kaliningrad would not have one about leaving.
Ok can we just stop claiming eachothers stuff for a minute and get back to just I dunno fix climate change or something.
