The College of Applied Science and Technology (CAST) has shared a strategic plan for 2025-2030. The plan was developed by a team of CAST faculty, staff, and students across each of the college’s academic departments/schools, refined through feedback provided by college stakeholders, and endorsed by shared governance bodies including the CAST Council. The plan sets the college up for success with new opportunities, while continuing to focus on priorities like applied, hands-on learning, individualized student attention, and a commitment to diversity, equity, belonging, and inclusion.
“I am proud of the collaborative work of our CAST colleagues in developing a strategic plan for moving the college forward,” said Dr. Chad McEvoy, dean of the College of Applied Science and Technology. “This plan will be a road map for CAST as we work together to overcome challenges and pursue new initiatives in the years ahead.”
