No, voting in November was our best chance to stop him and we blew it as a country. It is OUR fault and now WE pay the price for our action(s). Blaming someone else is deflecting blame where it squarely sits, the voters.
This is the consequence when you put party ahead of country.
The only possible way he could even remotely redeem himself is to convince enough republicans in office to impeach and convict Trump right now, and then follow that up with impeaching Vance when he inevitably continues committing the same crimes.
This seems like a bit of scapegoating to me, he has some blame to carry but there were a lot of factors, like biden refusing to drop out, kamala not being a strong candidate against a master manipulator of media, and there’s talk of the 2024 election being rigged hard. Clearly he’s been problematic with the supreme court though.
Mitch McConnell avoided the draft because his father was the senator. He had an eye disease which includes symptoms of loss vision and was honorably discharged. After that day he never had that disease again.
