Zelensky to Trump: Putin pretends to want peace because he’s “afraid of you”

1. It almost physically hurts to see how Zelenskyy must degrade himself to some of the unworthiest people on the planet for the sake of his country.

2. A bit humiliating how Zelenskyy has to stroke Trump‘s ego now, but I guess that’s the only chance Ukraine currently has. Maybe he should also mention what a skilled gamer Elmo is, just in case.

3. For the time being, it seems like the Trump praise strategy is not working. Seems like Trump and Putin is going to split Ukraine all by themselves and then expect the Ukrainian people and Zelensky to just take it. Which they won’t of course.

   It’s not over until it’s over though. Maybe nothing comes out of that meeting.

4. Regardless of the outcome, Zelensky will be remembered as one of the greatest wartime leaders of recent time.

   I hope for the best.

7. Zelensky has the hardest job in the world. He has to please the maniac Trump to ensure Ukraine’s survival.

9. Well, Putin sure wasn’t afraid of Obama or Biden.

   Asked Obama how things would go and Obama got caught on a hot mic saying he would have more freedom in his second term, so Putin invaded and ceased Crimea during Obama’s second term. And when the US Congress voted to supply military aid to Ukraine Obama made an Executive Order banning the sale of any lethal material to Ukraine, only bandages and flak vests.

   Putin was quite the entire time Trump was in office and just got a little bit tiffed when Trump got rid of Obama’s EO and started allowing the US to supply Ukraine with lethal weapons to defend the country with. But Putin still din;t stop it.

   After Biden got in office Putin was more than willing to start the saber rattling again and then invade Ukraine.

   Almost like Putin knows that the Dems support Communism and former Communist countries.

10. I hope those Nukes are close to being done. It could not be more obvious that Trump is more aligned with Putin than Ukraine.

12. A few months ago, he kept bad mouth Biden ; and now all of a sudden he is bootlicking Trump.

    I understand he is trying to protect his country, but sometimes I felt bad about Biden and his administration.

    The only way I see Ukraine getting out of this now is if Poland does a hail mary.

15. It’s good that he’s flattering Trump, the man is a narcissist. But it’s hard to tell how effective it is when he’s already got his own goal of making himself rich off the USA’s own back.

    What is true is that America stepping in for real is Russia’s worst nightmare.
