  6. i find it funny how he walks in and instantly recognizes what it is, takes that non-verbal cue of the quick mil-step to focus and from then on its all business.

    An exam at the Soviet Institute of International Relations. A student gets an exam question:

    *”A Soviet trade ship, while entering the port of a small African country, accidentally sank two fishing boats along with the fishermen. The government of this African country has issued a note of protest to the Soviet government. Your task, as a Soviet diplomat, is to draft a response to this note.”*

    The student writes the response. The professor reads it and says:

    “how do you know they were from Russia?” he also said that there was no proof they are of Russian origin and that there needs to be extra investigations to determine where they are coming from. they can’t exclude any options, they could come from a third party, not referring to Moldova.

    still, at least we see in the video a glimpse of honesty, a crack in the facade of constant parallel “Pravda” that the Russians are spewing.
