    1) Ukraine not joining NATO (Checked)
    2) A buffer zone between NATO and Russia (checked)
    3) Gaining land from Ukraine (checked)

    What Ukraine wants is:
    1) Reclaim the land (failed)
    2) Join NATO or at least EU (failed)
    3) Protection from US and NATO (up in the air)

    So Russia basically win the war

    That’s why he didn’t negotiate with Biden or Zelensky! He’s negotiating with Trump because Trump will give Russia the best deal and make sure Ukraine is iced out of the negotiations.
