Royal Military Museum (from Brussels, yes) here! From the heart of our archives and our Documentation Center, here’s a lovely postcard that should warm your day. Circa 1940, postcards like these were quite common, a habit that grew out of WWI (you know, being away from loved ones, sending notes, millions of postcards produced… that sort of thing).
We’ve gathered quite a collection in our photo library and thought you might like this one!
✒️️ FYI, “Tout m’attire vers toi : tu sais combien je t’aime. Mes bras, quand je te vois, s’ouvrent tout grand d’eux-mêmes.” = ‘Everything draws me to you: you know how much I love you. My arms, when I see you, open wide on their own.’
It’s not a small cannon, it was just cold that day!
So, what would it take to set up a live stream from that tank?
