The Italian Blind Baseball Association (AIBxC, a WBSC Associate Member) announced that Mauro Corazza will lead Italy in the 2025 Blind Baseball European Championship. Italy is the defending European Champion.
Corazza was honoured as the 2023 Italian Blind Baseball League (LIBCI) Coach of the Year as the Roma All Blinds manager. He led Italy to the final in the second WBSC Blind Baseball International Cup last year.
Corazza’s coaching staff will include Emilia Ammirato, Ilaria Di Giulio, Francesco Volo, Matteo Boscardi and Elia Manconi.
Dates and location of the Blind Baseball European Championship will be communicated later this year.
