  1. The problem with trump’s hairbrained schemes and zero sum game mentality, is the fact they never consider the interdependant nature of trade and economics. He really is the sort of muppet who would try to shoot a spider that got in his ear.

  2. way worse than that. he genuinely does not know how oil works but wants the number to be as close to 0 as possible thinking that makes everybody the most money

    its always fascinating how these guys essentially need the status quo preserved as long as possible yet they look at the democrats who will more or less preserve the status quo and choose to back the morons on the right.

  5. Tariffs that they’ll pass onto the customer, with a little more profit sprinkled on top. Big Oil wants this.

    Why so many stories about people being upset they voted for Trump? It’s false and they’re getting exactly what they wanted.

  7. Steel prices. Do you know how much pipe and raw steel. BP needs for its projects? 25% tariffs have caused BP to not move forward with projects and do layoffs instead. Chevron laying off in Houston. Conoco shutting down 2 plants in Cali.

  20. How are they mad? Higher costs just get passed along to the consumer (with some extra charges thrown in for good measure), and they make more money. That’s why you don’t see the Wall Street Journal making a big stink about it.
