I recently hypothesised that the little 40g bars of Galaxy actually taste better than the massive 360g ones. Further testing required.

“How many Maltesers can I fit up my bum?”.
I don’t understand this debate or why it’s doing the rounds on social media. Box ones obviously taste nicer because the plastic taints the chocolate. It isn’t dangerous and it’s very subtle, but you can notice it if you compare the two directly.
I’m personally convinced this (as in, the social media trend, not your post) is a marketing campaign for Maltesers.

I’ve tried this and I think the limit is around 21-23 malteasers. Anything more and you’re risking a tear.
Bad news: you bought too many. Good news: you can have a snack after.
Only serious if it’s randomised, controlled and blind. Hope you have an associate capable of hiding the origin, whilst not unconsciously giving you clues.

I was in my local Asda earlier and the box (310g) was like £4.50?!

I can confirm they come from exactly the same production line, made at the same time, just go into different packaging.
We don’t make the large box very often though, usually only in the run up to Easter and Christmas.
Some people swear that boxed Malts taste better because the packaging is slightly porous.

Alright money bags! How is a large box of Maltesers costing £6 now!? They used to be £3.50 a few years ago. Even the small boxes are now £3 when they used to be £1.50

God I love maltesers…
They have something similar here in the us called whoppers. They taste like maltesers that have been left under the sofa for 35 years.
So yeah I’ll take the boxed ones or the other ones either will taste amazing.
I’m glad am not the only one who thinks the box and packet taste different
