Red Stripe recalls Malta over safety concerns | News

Due to safety concerns a batch of Malta beverage is being recalled by Red Stripe as some bottles may rupture due to pressure.

In a post on social media, it said the recall affects bottles with the batch number BB 13 JUL 26 L5013388M.

“At Red Stripe, we are committed to upholding the highest safety and quality standards across all our products. As part of this commitment, we are voluntarily recalling a specific batch of Malta (284ml) produced on January 13, 2025, due to a potential pressure issue. No other Malta products are affected,” the company said.

It said persons who have purchased products from this batch should handle the bottles with care, immediately empty the contents and return the bottles for a refund.
