  1. It’s not WWI. The killing technologies have advanced. The issue is that the European young generation, in general terms, does not want to fight. It started a half century ago with “better red than dead”’.

  2. Even if you replace every soldier 1-1 or more with equivalently trained/experienced soldiers its not the same as having the US presence there. The US presence means that any invader must be at minimum careful to not accidentally engage those troops and force the US into the conflict. In truth those troops presence makes it extremely difficult to start engagements without causing a US war. No amount of Ukraine forces or European forces will make up for that.

But this is also all speculation as the US has NOT announced troop removal so far and the current public statement is that no troop removals are currently planned.

  3. We might not want to fight, but we are ok with killer robots.

  4. “Ukraine please surrender you are surrounded”

” American government, go fuck yourselves”

  5. That they can doesn’t mean they should. Mostly because of what was explained in comments here, US presence is needed there.

  6. I’m your all your young Ukrainian men are chomping at the bit to become Europe’s new babysitters

  7. They’re just making the point that our current administration sucks Russian d*ck and has abdicated its role as the world’s police force or whatever we were respectfully called once upon a time.

  8. 😂 there is nothing these people won’t sell to make a dollar or a grivna

  9. I mean US troops haven’t won a war since Desert a storm so i am fine with that

  10. Pink Floyd “trade you walk on to a war for first place in cage”

  11. I don’t trust the US anymore. Why should anyone?

  12. We don’t need troops, we need defence infrastructure that invalidates even an idea for anyone to attack as well as upkeep nukes to enforce MAD ([Mutual assured destruction – Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mutual_assured_destruction))

If we are serious about bringing peace and prosperity, we shouldn’t have attacking force at all.

  13. I love that for them. The defense of Europe tithed to a country in Europe…. Wait no, that’s starting to sound bad again

  14. COME AND TRAIN vs the US IN CANADA ! JUST IN CASE ! WE WILL HIDE AND PROTECT YOU !

  15. The U.S is on the fast track of losing their global soft power status. I just hope it’s not imperialist Russia or China that fills the power vaccum. How do you have an America first policy but have military bases and troops all over the world ? It is not going to work. You can’t project power from an isolated country.

  16. If China goes for Taiwan now, that’s going to be interesting.

If I was Xi I would go for it now and not wait

Trump administration salty tears when they just shat on all of their allies. Trumps gonna have to draft ‘Muericans… he’d become the most hated president in modern history.

  17. I’d trust a Ukrainian veteran over some yank cowboy anyway

  18. No one will care if Ukrainian troops are stationed in a country they want to go to war with lol. With the US soldiers present in that county however that means you have to go to war with the US as well, no one wants to do that.

Not to mention Ukraine doesn’t have anywhere near the logistical capability as the US to maintain a wide network of Military assets and bases spread out in Europe.

  19. Trump and Putin are allied, they are making their own deal on the back of Ukraine and the rest of the EU countries. Trump has clearly said that he will encourage Putin to continue his expensive war by invading other EU nation. It is clear that the threats of a EU invasion come form the East (Estonia if you consider Ukraine not part of the EU) and now also the West (Greenland). EU is now surrounded both side by expensive imperialism. Ukrainian has the best experience in high intensity warfare and can lead the game of a EU defense but If far right Germany win, it is the end of EU.

  20. Ukraine says nonsense.

    Reddit believes it.

But at least no one important believes it.

  21. The USA is not a stable ally anymore. Ukraine is correct in suggesting replacing the USA troops as the current cabal of oligarchs running the show in US will only dangle their military carrot to impose endless appeasements.
Look at the demands that were asked of Ukraine’s resources. The rest of Europe is next…

  22. No they can’t and there are a number of reasons.

First NATO military is almost dominant by the USA. It literally can’t operate on a world wide level without it. Hence why all the fearmongering of trump making the USA leave NATO is unfounded. You’d need 2/3rd house and congressional votes to even make that happen.

Second Ukraine is still in a war that’s going strong. Making ANY soldiers from Ukraine leave could cause them to lose.

Third is that Putin will retaliate doing the same thing. Causing skirmishes outside of the initial countries involved with the war.

    Im short, it isn’t happening.

  23. Trump is also imposing tariffs on Taiwan. It’s doubtful if the US would defend Taiwan.

US security interest lay nowhere; except possibly in the US, with the anticipated announcement of martial law. Just watch.

  24. Maybe Ukraine can now be the leader of the free world since the title is up for grabs.

  25. What europe and the US should remember is that Ukrainian troops can also replace Russian troops if Putin gets his hand on Ukraine. I bet that would be not fun .
