Is this true? 🤣

  1. Yes. I’m actually ripping my bathroom out right now (only stopped for a breather) standing next to all my dewalt gear 🤣 I’m not paying stupid money for a dewalt bag so a got a yellow and black heavy duty one from Temu.

No self respecting man has a mismatch of coloured tools. You pick your brand and stick with it. Mainly because the batteries fit all the same brand tools and batteries are hella expensive.

I went for dewalt because I was looking for an oscillating saw and watched reviews and found that was the 2nd best. I don’t need the best as it’s just for DIY but having all the cool features that the best has is a bonus.

  2. Proud Ryobi whore. Drill, glue gun, strimmer, leaf blower & telescopic hedge trimmer. Not as upmarket as the rest, but they’ve never let me down.

  3. It’s only true if you can afford private education/old boy network tools. Most are sorted into the ‘middle isle at Aldi’ house

  4. Whatever is on offer and provides similar results, no allegiance.

  5. What’s this fucking Instagram style post doing on here?!

“Is this true? 🤣” Comment below to see!!

Fuck off back to Facebook with this shite please.

  6. I have a mix of Bosch, Ryobi, and makita. Some new and some bought used over Facebook marketplace.

Does anybody there like me have mixed brands of tools ?

  7. Erbauer Gang of “but this is 50 quid cheaper” represent!

  8. The brand chooses you.

Dewalt is for the men who think lifting a drill should be part of their workout. No time for the gym so I have a 75kg impact driver.

Milwaukee is for the guys that want to flex. I’m always busy so getting a second mortgage for this angle grinder made sense

Makita is for boring blokes who just want an easy life. The Mrs tried to get me to buy B&Q home brand. I’m only in it for the money but I have to at least look like I care. Makita will do

Ryobi is for men who hoover up. “Gay” would be the traditional insult. I’ve got nice tools, clean clothes and I like a tidy job. I hate dust. I keep all my tools as neat as the day I got them. Throwing them in the van is not a thing.

  9. Whatever is reasonable, Silverline works for me the amount I use them.

  10. DeWalt for the win guys. If it’s not yellow and black I don’t want it

  11. Got nothing to do with becoming a dad though 🤣

  12. Not a dad so I haven’t been sorted yet. I get to mix and match. Maybe it’s just me but I have found Makita and Ryobi stuff lasts the longest and is a bit better made than the other two brands.

  13. And then you realise, sell them all and join the darkside, Festool ….

  14. Going to get down voted lots, but I’m an Einhell haus.

  15. Where’s the ALDI homebrand house, I can’t afford the other houses.

  16. It’s not the tools people are loyal too, it’s the batteries.

  17. Not me im fucking hopeless with DIY can fix a human can’t put up a shelf to save my life

  18. I’ll just be in my room with my worx, pretending I don’t exist!

  19. I’m a 48 year old woman, packing several tool boxes. I go for the rainbow, everything from Aldi middle aisle upwards!
