Work this morning, shopping and slobbing out this afternoon. Day already ruined by us running out of loo roll
Currently putting off going for a run and starting on the washing. Popping over to my mum’s in the afternoon for the weekly cuppa and catch-up.
I’m bringing the kids put to my parents in the country. Try and let them have the freedom (and dirt) I had as a kid.
Gonna spend some quality time with an antenna and a soldering iron. It should be a job for testing it with a NanoVNA in the garden so I hope it stays dry this afternoon.
We’re off to London for a tour of Westminster Palace which I’m looking forward to. It’s going to be interesting to see a place which has impacted my life, and shaped the society I’ve lived in, for the last 42 years.
Going to look around to buy a second hand car. I’ve been rehearsing my haggling in my head for days, but I’ve never bought a car without my dad before so who knows how it’ll go!
Taking my son to his U10s football match. They were a new team last year and had to start in Division 7. Win today and they go into Division 3 after hall term.
Come on you Spartans!
Quite tired but it’s also now half term, which is great. Seeing Dogman later and viewing a house
Just worked 7 days straight. Got the weekend off and my area manager asked me yesterday if I could work today as well. I told her I’m busy and away for the weekend. I’m not, I don’t plan on going anywhere or doing anything really.
No solid plans currently, but might be going out later.
There were some revelations last night, which has put me in a fantastic mood.
Yoga, then a couple of hours having a massage, facial and a manicure, theatre this evening.
Tomorrow likely hiking for a few hours then prepping for next week at work.
Driving lesson. Dreading it a bit cause I’m shit at it. Only had one lesson like so shouldn’t overthink it.
Usual dog walk whilst our daughter goes to gymnastics at 11. I’m getting my hair dyed this afternoon. Haven’t had it done since November, so I’m looking forward to fresh roots again!
My mother likes to go charity shop hunting when she gets the chance, so I’m taking her out on the bus somewhere to one of the various towns in my county. Rain is predicted for later, so I doubt we’ll be gone long.
All I want in the whole world is my bed, so that’s where I’m going after I’ve filled the bird feeders and fed the cat.
Haircut this morning, lunch in town, then homemade pizza night for dinner 😊
All sorts planned. Migraine struck in the night and still in full force. Just waiting for next pain killer dose in 13 minutes then will try and sleep through it.
Popping to St Albans to visit a friend and to go and see the moon thing in the cathedral, since I missed it in Greenwich.
Making cakes and shopping ahead of fathers in laws birthday tomorrow. Then belated Valentine’s theatre trip with other half.
Moved in the week to my new home, so wandering around aimlessly looking at the myriad piles of boxes and wondering who the f*ck I am on a Saturday morning
With apologies to Trainspotting
Taking my son to St Mary’s today with the Bournemouth fans to watch the Saints/Bournemouth match. No trains into Southampton Central from Bournemouth so I’m hoping the roads aren’t too crammed getting into city centre this afternoon.
I think a friend was basically asking me the other day to sleep with his wife for him because he can’t keep up with her bedroom needs. I shot it down but honestly not something I had on my 2025 bingo card.
Going to watch Harry Potter and the cursed child play!! I am very very excited!!
Just mostly going to be finding them
Supposed to be at work today but my period is killing me so I have to stay at home and just do nothing.
My granddaughter has mixed heritage and will be celebrating a Hindu sari ceremony that celebrates her passing from a child to an adult. Going to be nice catching up with some people I haven’t seen for a while, getting dressed up and I’m expecting some top notch Indian food.
More kitchen dismantling, and asking my plasterer neighbour how busy he is. We’re well beyond the tub of Polyfilla, and into 100+ rawlplug removal country.
Bacon. And Botox. Power couple.
Working my second job, at a pub. Once I’m there I love it but I hate the thought of my weekend being broken up.
To clarify, I wouldn’t be doing anything important with the time if I wasn’t there, I’d be sat on the sofa with my dog
