Hello, sorry for using English. I wanted to ask what’s happening here. I sent the money from my coop bank account to my LHV bank account. It was confirmed that I don’t have any money left on my coop bank but at the same time there’s nothing on my LHV bank as well. I’ve already sent some money several times like this and checked that I wrote the account and beneficiary correctly.

Should I call the banks later? This is my first time to experience this kind of situation.

  1. You only sent it today? At least thats what i see from the date

  2. On weekends the payment can delay for a day or few days. Usually it’s quick but it can happen. If you still don’t have the money on your LHV bank account on Monday, I would call the bank.

  3. Different banks, SEPA direct debit does not work on weekends.

  4. As far as I know, the interbank SEPA payments take place 5 times a day on business days, but nothing happens on the weekends.

  6. A SEPA payment initiated at the weekend will be received by the recipient on Monday after 8:45 a.m. So it can take until Monday.
