Just sharing – I think a few of us CasualUKers have done these Hidden London tours, but I did the Piccadilly one yesterday and it was a fun way to spend an hour or so – going into disused tunnels, seeing original lift shafts, and finding out a bit of history along the way.

Has anyone done one who recommends a particular site? I believe the Dover Street (Green Park) and Charing Cross ones are particular draws…

  1. Euston was cool, a load of old adverts up on the walls in a closed off bit from the 50s I think it was. And getting to go up in the ventilation shafts above the platforms and look down on people!

  2. The wife and I did the Euston one I think. Definitely recommended for anyone into that kind of thing.

  3. I thought Baker Street was sensational and I’ve enjoyed Piccadilly tremendously too

  4. I would love to go into abandoned underground stations and tunnels

  5. If there are any gamers on here there’s a brilliant level in Shadowman (which was recently remastered) where you are searching for Jack the Ripper through abandoned Down Street underground station. I believe Down Street station exists irl as well, not sure if they do tours.

I haven’t been to London in 25 years, might arrange a trip specifically to do these tours. Great post

  6. That looks really Interesting, I pass through green park on my commute so might try and get to the tour there on works time

  7. This looks very cool. I think I’d be equal parts fascinated and creeped out.
