  1. Well … why should Putin disrupt “peace” talks if it is a one sided peace where Ukraine is forced to accept it while Putin can keep what it wants and rebuild his army for the next attack in a few years or for forcing Ukraine to spend more for military that it can afford until it accepts voting only for Putin friendly governments?

    That’s like me telling my kid I will send troops into his room if he doesn’t accept Christmas gifts.

  4. Don’t depend on this, trump is bought out and is in bed with the kremlin. It may be completely dependent on Europe to help Ukraine from this point forward unfortunately

  9. Trump is literally Putins lackey so I really doubt any good will come to Ukraine with Trump at the helm. It’s just not a possibility with the Kremlin’s hooks in the White House.

    Also, this isn’t news. It’s practically Kremlin propaganda.

  11. A) posturing to make it look like Putin conceded when he gets everything he wants, and

    B) we’re here in the first place because Russia ignored the existing agreement that gave Ukraine assurances based on giving up its nuclear arsenal.
